(1) Quart-sized bag of high quality Cedar Bark Nesting Material.
This nesting material is hand stripped from reclaimed cedar posts, soaked to become pliable, hand-twisted to help break up the fibers and then completely dried. This results in long and short lengths of bark that are easily molded into a nest and ignite quickly. This process makes the bark more susceptible to your ember. A lot of skill and experience in wilderness survival instruction has gone into making this nesting the best nesting material for demonstrations and practical application. This is NOT just the junk kindling that we all have in our backyards.
Take a small amount and make a nest into which your ember or smoldering char cloth will go. Add air by blowing on it and you'll have a roaring fire in no time! Works great with all types of fires: Bow Drill, Flint and Steel, Hand Drill, Trough (Fire Plow), Fire Pistons, Fire Steels, and, if your lazy, matches. Due to the organic nature of this item, each bag will differ slightly in appearance and texture.
